It is truly wonderful that different branches of the Pitts family are coming back together after such a diaspora that took them from the lands in Laurens County, South Carolina, to Arkansas, briefly to Oklahoma, and back to South Carolina for some and Arkansas for others. I may have mistaken Donna's actual name, but her Ancestry.com id is donnaMpayne. Does that ring a bell for you? She spoke very highly of your genealogical skills and of your willingness to assist others (Please ...:-) As a matter of fact, she is a descendant - and I believe the contact person for the Calvin Conway Pitts brancho of the family. She is also a descendant of Berry and Laura Finley. She has been most helpful in my ventures in scaling the Pitts family tree. I have a zillion questions about the Pitts family tree, Robin Pitts, Martha Seeley Pitts, and just about everything else. If it is ok, I would like to raise some in the next posting.
