They were all born in either Essex or Caroline County,VA. This Pitts tree goes back to 1327. Many of the Pitts family wound up in Newberry County, South Carolina. Your Pitts who wound up in Florida have to somehow be connected. I believe that the Pitts family in Florida must have been fairly wealthy. I remember reading in the Palm Beach Post that the Pitts family owned big Munion Island and had a mansion there. It is located in the Intracoastal Waterway, adjacent to North Palm Beach,Fl. The mansion is no longer there. I don't know if we can connect or not, but sometimes a shred of information can help to guide us in the right direction.
