William Younger was one of the Port Royal, Virginia Merchants, along with George Pitts. Younger Pitts became a Baptist Minister in Essex County. He married Susannah Elliott born 1738 in Essex Co.,dau. of Caleb Elliott (c.1714-1789)& Margaret Boulware (c. 1725-1800). They had seven children, the eldest named Younger Pitts who also became a minister(1758-1822)born in Virginia, died in Scott County Kentucky.
