I find him in the 1800 census with a Sister Louise Pitts-Worden as a ward. Can't find anything on-line like court doc. Is there anyone researching James S/L Pitts and Martha J. Unknown family? Some of these Family members turn up in Texas where I find my ggrandpa in Limestone County in the 1900 census. This county is next to Burleson where James' Father and Mother moved.
