Per the 1880 U.S. Census - Riley, age 50, and Susan, age 50, and their children (Ella E., age 18, Russell A., age 16, Fountain E., age 14, & Emma, age 11) were residing at - District 1, Lincoln, TN. Also living there was their dau, Rena E. (Pitts) Kilpatrick, age 21, and Rena's husband, Thos. B. Kilpatrick, age 26, and their son Willie C. Kilpatrick, age 9 months. Living next door was Riley's nephew, John B. Pitts, age 9, who was living with Hiram S. Reese, age 36. I show four children of Fountain Pitts and Laura Dickey - Clyda E. Today I found in Ancestry com a family tree by Caldwell that says his father, the 1775 Younger, was the son of Younger Pitts born in 1738 in Virginia. does someone somewhere have proof that this is correct? I am not a relative and have no other information. Fred (Tony) Pitts, born November 15, 1915 in Montgomery Texas, died October 26, 1976 Houston, Texas. Son of Wiley Pitts [1874] and Fannie [1884]. Survived by wife Hazel E. Pitts of Conroe, TX. One daughter Fannie Joyce Wilcox of Junction City Kansas. Three Sons, Freddie Gene Pitts of Houston, Milton Ray Pitts and Gerald Wayne Pitts both of Conroe, TX. Four sisters; Irene Cagle, Clemmis Petitt, Gertrude Lee and Grace Brantley.
