Joe, I let my full subscription to Ancestry.com lapse this year, as there are library editions in Sydney & Melbourne I can access for free, if I get in a queue. But ancestry.com are currently offering 3-day full access, free-of-charge, so I took advantage of the offer, & did search the Canadian records, transcribing actual enumeration images (but not down-loading them). By the looks of things, the 1901 Canada Census is incomplete. And yes, I am interested in ALL PIGOTTs of Irish origin, but especially those familes with connections to the various branches related to the original Dysart PIGOTT line, including: 1. William Southwell PIGOTT, b Quebec, 1849, son of James Henry & Mary PIGOTT; marr Elizabeth REID, with issue. 2. William Dowdall PIGOTT, b Dysart, Queen's Co, 1790-91; marr Eliza COLLEY; with issue. 3. Henry de Renzy PIGOTT, as noted in my last, with widow Frances Catherine, sons Henry Philip Bernard, Augustus Charles Doyne, Tyringham Vere, & Mowbray C., as well as daughters Fanny Beatrice, Harriet Octavia, & Violet. The latter family certainly descends from the PIGOTTs of Loughrea, Co Galway. The former two have middle names that suggest a strong possibilty of a connection to the Capard PIGOTT family; both families with origins in the Dysart PIGOTT branch. Regards, Chris PIGOTT.
