    3. Hi Susan, I have quickly pulled together a huge amount of information on Ray's line. You folks go back to the Clavering, Essex PIGGOTTs, of whom there were MANY! One branch went to Australia. You are in luck in that there is a lister from Australia, Ciara Knox, who has researched this line. Her e-mail address is in the Cc: line of this message. In August of this year Ciara posted a lengthy message, Langley Essex Extract of PIGGOTT Marriages from 1757. Some of yours are in that list. Also, in early 2003 another person from Australia, Naida, who does not appear to still be a list member, posted a series of message on PIGGOTT Births, Marriages and Deaths in Essex. Again, many of yours are included. To search the PIGGOTT list archives, go to: http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/?list=PIGGOTT Here are instructions for subscribing to our list: Subscribing. Clicking on one of the shortcut links below should work, but if your browser doesn't understand them, try these manual instructions: to join PIGGOTT-L, send mail to <mailto:PIGGOTT-L-request@rootsweb.com>PIGGOTT-L-request@rootsweb.com with the single word subscribe in the message subject and body. * <mailto:PIGGOTT-L-request@rootsweb.com?subject=subscribe&body=subscribe>Subscribe to PIGGOTT-L Since we have your line in the 1881 census, I am sending you via separate message an invitation to join Lost Cousins. By posting your 1881 census information (use the FREE census at: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=census/search_census.asp ) you will increase your chances enormously of finding actual living relations, without false alarms. Just be sure to try and add ALL of you sideline information (married siblings, etc.) as well as your main PIGGOTT data from 1881. Based on the information that you provided in your last message quoted at the end below, I have probably found the marriage of Frederick's parents. I also confirmed his twin - Lillian. So far I have not found Jack, but I found the others. 3. Hi Joe & List, I am a member of a number of lists and I think the Piggott list is the most informative of all that I am a member. Well done Joe. My Piggott interest is also the Australian connection being William & Harriet King with William being my GG Grandfather. I would be happy to assist in relation to this line.
