Joe, I found this reference in one of my early note-books, being in a sequence of extracts from School/College Registers: "King's College, Ely, Cambridgeshire: "Ernest PIGOTT, b May 1865, son of H. PIGOTT, 4 Hills Lane, Ely; Day Boy, 1876. Business. "Harry PIGOTT, b Oct 1860, 4 Hills Lane, Ely; Day Boy, 1876. Business." I had an idea that these two boys were instead the sons of Richard PIGOTT & Mary Ann English CROSS (who were married at Hackney, London, Mar qtr 1860), & enumerated, along with other siblings, with these parents, & at this address, in later Ely Census returns.
