I think you are doing well to have the information you have as our birth records (online finish 1906). I thought there may have been something in the NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF AUSTRALIA as war years but only a Marjorie, wife as next of kin to Noel David Piggott born 19-8-1929 Orange NSW.. No war record for William Sydney Foad. He may have been a British serviceman? You may be interested in looking at the site (Google) as 15 Foads mostly immigration. Another site is the NSW BDM (Birth Death and Marriages) but again the time period is not good as you have probably found out. Also the online NSW STATE ARCHIVES does not come up with anything for Foad. Was hoping for a probate packet but you may be able to hunt around further. Can you give me a possible area and / or specifically what you are hoping to find as I may be able to look in the electoral returns (not online). Hi Penny, Great to hear from you again. All I am looking for is her parents, to be able to move backwards. I have no idea what occupation William S Foad was, he may have been a British serviceman, but I did find the William came over with his parents and siblings. I have no idea whether Marjorie was born in NSW or also emigrated to the Country. If she was born there I would say it was Liverpool NSW as that's where they seem to be concentrated. Anything you can do to help would be very much appreciated.
