I saw a piece about Thomas Piggott of Dysart on the message board for July 2006. I'm pursuing a line of enquiry about the connection between my family (Rotheram) and the Sandes family in the 17th -18th century, and I was very interested in the information in the message about Lancelot Sandes (d 1728). There was a George Rotheram leasing land from him in Westmeath in 1714. I would be interested to know the source of the info about Lancelot Sandes and whether anyone knows more about the Sandes of Kilcavan.
