    3. Hi Penny, Thank you so much for your kind offer. :-) In all honesty, over the years I have accumulated a huge amount of records on my PIGGOTT family. Only my own grandfather continues to have missing pieces. What would be helpful to me as far as information from Australia is concerned, would be any articles from Melbourne newspapers concerning the 52nd Regiment (especially any reference to Frederick PIGGOTT) between May 1914 and the end of August 1914. He had a friend in Melbourne; a Sergeant Major Solomon, of whom I know nothing. I imagine that SM Solomon was also assigned to the 52nd Regiment. I would also like to find any information about the mystery "Mrs. O'Laughlin" who posted the remembrance in the Melbourne paper. Her name is unfortunately all that I know. Perhaps Frederick, a "widower", had a romantic interest in her? In any event, if you run across anything in your searches that adds to my knowledge of the above items, I would greatly appreciate it.
