Joseph and Martha (Piggott) were my gg grandparents and their son Jacob (b.1846 )was my great-grandfather. He went to N.Z. with some of his siblings (he was one of eight) but then came to Australia,married and had a family. The Jacob who died in Utah was the brother of the above Joseph ( m. Martha Piggott ). So I too live in Australia, in Victoria. I now have a lot of info. about the Garrard family in Suffolk, back to the late 1700s, which I would be happy to share with you. I have been researching for years and it has been quite difficult finding the correct records. I have some records of the ones who went to N.Z. but would love to know where today's descendents are. It would be easier to write to my home email and I hope you can send me your mail address too.
