Peter, Can you tell me anything about the parentage of your ancestor Glasden PIGGOTT? There appear to have been two - yours at Chatteris, Cambs, in 1841, with wife Mary (CRAWLEY) & 2 sons Crawley & James - & an elder one, probably too young to be father of yours, so perhaps instead a cousin, enumerated at St Ives, Hunts, 1841, aged 45+, with Elizabeth, & 3 children, William, Anne & Emma, all born in the county; he probably died at St Ives, Jun qtr 1862. The I.G.I. reveals no baptisms for any Glasden PIGGOTTs anywhere in England. Regards, Chris.
