Any help would be appreciated. Edward Charles Pemberton Pigott was Lt. & Adjutant of 44th Regiment Madras in 1859 when he married Eliza Ann UNDERWOOD (born 1840, daughter of William Elphinstone Underwood and Magdalene Thompson) on 24 December 1859 at St. Georges Cathedral, Madras. The only children I know of are Ethel C. (Christine or Christian) Pemberton Pigott in c1873 in Madras, Cecilia Valentine Pemberton Pigott on 14 February 1874 in Wellington, died 1875 in Surrey. My grandmother says Edward and Eliza had many children but I haven't found them! Ethel married Benjamin TODHUNTER from New Zealand in 1899. Eliza Ann Pemberton Pigott died in 1890 in Portsea Island, Hamps. On the cards was a Robert Edward Pemberton PIGOTT born 1866 died 1943. It says Bombay-Baroda & CI Railway Lt.Col. AF (I). Any help here appreciated. He might be a son.
