Joe, General PIGGOTT of Bunker's Hill was Robert PIGOT, born 1720, son of Richard PIGOT of Hodnet & Westminster, by his spouse Frances COOKE (or GOODE?), Tyre woman to Queen Caroline. He was Captain, 31st Regt of Foot, 1751; Major, 70th Foot, 1758; & served at Bunker's Hill, whence he was made Lt-Col of his Regiment & a Major-General in the Army. He succeeded his brother as the 2nd Baronet of Patshull, & died at his seat at Patshull in 1796. He married, in Dublin, Ann JOHNSON, & had issue - a daur Ann; & 3 sons, George, a Major-General in the Army; Hugh, a Captain in the Royal Navy; & Robert, Lt-Col of the 30th Regt. I am fairly certain that I posted details of his family & descent on your List some time ago, under title PIGOT of Hodnet, or similar. Regards, Chris.
