Hi Barb, I recommend you get a copy of Frederick Clifton Pierce's book PIERCE GENEALOGY, being the Record of the Posterity of Capt. Michael, John and Capt. William Pierce, etc.. He is the best source I have found for Pierce's in the Plymouth Colony area of MA, and particularly Rehoboth. My own family had seven generations there. One possibility, is David Pierce (b. 11 Apr. 1739, brother to Peleg Pierce. It also states he married Mary____. (maybe a 1st wife) You can buy a copy of the book at: http://www.higginsonbooks.com/ . PIERCE Genealogy, #IV; record of the posterity of Capt. Michael, John, & Capt. Wm. Pierce, who came to this country from England, by F.C. Pierce. 441p. 1889. $68.50 I have been to Rehoboth doing my own research and I can tell you that the City Hall has a good pamphlet on the local cemeteries and the local public library has a genealogical section that is very helpful.
