I am trying to get information on Thomas Pierce who married Almy Chase at Trinity Church in Newport, Rhode Island in Nov. 1748. They emigrated to Nova Sotia about 1762. They had seven children, all or most born in New England. They were: Persis, John, Thomas, James, Josiah, Elsie and Amy. I don"t know the order of birth except fo Persis who was the oldest, born 1749. I have been unable to find anything on either Thomas or Almy in Rhode Island. I think maybe their families moved there from Mass. Has anyone come across these names in their research? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you, Richard Pierce
