I looked in the index of a book that has come down in the family from 1882. There were Persis admitted to the church at Charlestown, Massachusetts in 1643, another in l668, and a third in 1812. I ldon't know if this is a common name of that period or not. They were the only three mentioned. Perhaps if they left the US that is why your Persis wasn't mentioned in the book. I know there were people who are not mentioned. If you want any more information on these three I will send it but not tonight,
