Hello, all: Does anyone have these PEARCE in their records? Jacob B.C. PEARCE born GA ~1835 , wife is Elizabeth STRINGFELLOW (married Madison Co AL 1867). On Madison Co AL census 1870. Lucinda/Louvenia Emaline/Evaline "Lou" PEARCE born GA in May 1837, also found in Madison Co AL 1870. In 1880 and 1900, she stated that both parents were born GA. This is my gggrandmother. She was the second wife of James "Albert" LAFARLETTE. She may have had an earlier marriage to an ARNELTON (???) In 1874, my gggrandfather, James "Albert" LAFARLETTE named "J.B.C. PEARCE" in his petition for divorce from his first wife Mary Ann (grounds of adultery). I suspect that Jacob PEARCE could be related Lou PEARCE, who became Albert LAFARLETTE's second wife.
