Hi everyone; I have a copy of a letter written May 25, 1923 by Wallace J. Pearce Supervisor of Routt National Forest Craig, CO. My daughter, who now works for the Routt/Medicine Bow National Forest, Steam Boat Springs, CO, is trying to locate his personnel file. She has others working on it for her. In the letter he is trying to make it a policy to use horses more and automobiles less on the forest except for emergency trips and trips for supplies. Trying to save the tax payers money it seems. Does name ring any bells with anyone? Nita
