Researching ancestry of John Pierce, b. NC, m. 1805 Barren County, KY, Margaret Lacefield. Children William, Nancy, Lucy, Rosannah, James, Paschal, Frances, Elizabeth and John. I have information on children but John's parents are my "brick wall". Allen's History of Kentucky says John Pierce was in Green County "early," which could mean before 1800. Believe John had a brother, James, probably a couple years younger, also b. NC, m. 1803 Green County, KY, children William, Polly, John, Nancy, Lydia, George, Adam, Milton, Francis and Sally.
