This is a great list and I read it every day. But my Tennessee ggrandparents have been hiding from me for a long time. Here is what I know. Searching for Mr. PIERCE (given name unk) who married Sabina (maiden name unk) abt 1825 in TN. Both were born in TN abt 1805. Mr PIERCE and his wife Sabina had at least two sons - Bird PIERCE born in 1836 in TN, and Young PIERCE born 19 Jul 1839 in TN. The two PIERCE sons and their mother Sabina were in Coryell Co. TX. as early as 1854. Bird PIERCE died in the Civil War at Pine Ridge AR 3 Mar 1863. Young PIERCE was killed by Comanches in Coryell Co. TX 16 Mar 1859. Bird PIERCE married Sarah SCOGGIN 1 Sep 1855 in Coryell Co. TX. Sarah was born in Hardeman Co.TN and lived in Izard Co. AR before moving on to Texas. I have recent information indicating that Mr. Pierce and Sabina were married in Hardeman Co. TN 3 April 1825 but this is unconfirmed. I suspect there are other siblings considering this marriage date and the ages of the two know brothers. Any leads, comments, advise, search techniques are gratefully accepted.
