I am looking for the parents of Jared W. Pierce, born Feb 10, 1792 in Halifax, Windham, Vt. He married Louisa Willcox Dec 7, 1815 in Halifax and he is listed on the 1820 Halifax census. I have found several Pierce's from Halifax but have not been able to locate his parents. Has anyone researched this area? Jared and Louisa had 5 children, 2 unnamed girls and 3 boys, George A., Charles and Henry. They moved to Jefferson County, NY sometime between 1820 and 1830 as he shows up on the NY census in 1830. I would love any information about Pierce's from Halifax or Windham County, VT. I will share all that I have. Thanks. Deb Pierce
