Hi Folks.... I'm trying to locate a CALDWELL family that was somewhere in the greater Boston area (but apparently not Boston itself) at least in the 1930's-40's. Unfortunately, I do not have the husband's first name, though he can probably be culled from the herd by the fact that he was a doctor. Is there a listing of doctors by any chance thru AMA or elsewhere? He had a wife and daughter.....Sarah and Frances. I cannot swear which is which, though aging memory places Sarah as his wife. Sarah was born in Norwich, CT in the early 1850's to Wesley8 and Ellen (McWhirr) Pierce, descended from immigrants Thomas and Elizabeth (____) Pierce. (Thomas1, Thomas2, Stephen3, Jacob4, Stephen5, Stephen6, Stephen7). I'm wide open to suggestions as to how I might pin this family down. Need some assistance with this one, please, as I don't have access to old phone books or city directories and don't know where to head next!
