Hi Colleen and others, Just had to respond to this query. A mailing list that has too strict of requirements may not be very productive. That is my opinion. I belong to many mailing lists and see all kinds of things come through them, some apply, some don't but sometimes the info is of interest to some of the people and genealogy includes many things and that lost ancestor can be found is some of the strangest ways. I don't know of a mailing list but do know of a wonderful web page dedicated the New England Indians. Click here: New England Indians Home Page http://users.javanet.com/~smartin/ You can find all mailing lists hosted by Rootsweb on this page. Click here: User Mailing Lists Hosted by RootsWeb http://www.rootsweb.com/~maillist/ Happy Hunting, Sue Gardner Leominster, MA Team Captain of the Pie rce Project - New England/New York http://members.aol.com/SueG476/Project.html In a message dated 10/20/1999 1:24:57 AM Eastern Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: > > In case you're wondering how this pertains, my Pearce > line married into a Cherokee line. :-) > > I recently subscribed to the ITROOTS-L list at rootsweb. > I posted my Cherokee rolls/list query to the ITROOTS list at > the same time that I posted here.
