Mr PIERCE and his wife Sabina had at least two sons-Bird PIERCE born in 1836 in TN, and Young PIERCE born 19 Jul 1839 in TN. The two PIERCE sons and their mother Sabina were in Coryell Co. TX. as early as 1854. Bird PIERCE died in the Civil War at Pine Ridge AR 3 Mar 1863. Young PIERCE was killed by Comanches in Coryell Co. TX 16 Mar 1859. Bird PIERCE married Sarah SCOGGIN 1 Sep 1855 in Coryell Co. TX. Sarah was born in Hardeman Co.TN and lived in Izard Co. AR before moving on to Texas. Family history unproven says Sabina married Mr. Pierce 3 April 1825 in Hardeman Co. Tennessee. I have been unable to find proof or even the first name of Mr. Pierce or maiden name for Sabina.
