Born approx. 1860 in NC or VA. He married Mary Ann Phipps. I have searched census', and every record I could get my hands and can not find this man. He is my ggrandfather, and he seems to have appeared out of nowhere. If anyone has any information on Courtney, I would appreciate hearing from you. Mary
