Hi Angela, I am not related to the famous Dr. R.V. Pierce but I do have a couple of his bottles. I also have a little advertising booklet he published for 1924. Here is a quote: "Over fifty years ago a young physician practiced widely in Pennsylvania and became famous for his uniform success in the curing of disease. This was Dr. R.V. Pierce who afterwards established himself in Buffalo, N.Y., and placed his 'Golden Medical Discovery,' in the drugstores of the United States. When you feel run-down, out of sorts, blue and despondent, try the energizing influence of Golden Medical Dicovery in tablet or liquid form. The 'Discovery' contains no alchohol nor any harmful ingredient." The booklet lists his dispensary address as: No. 665 Main Street, Buffalo, N.Y.
