Im still searching for information on a James PIERCE bcirca 1820 maybe in NC or the vicinity. he had a son Charles born 1845 probably in NC james and Charles moved to wood co tx around 1860. I think james remarried (charles's mother has never been mentioned) Charles m Mary E Long daughter of James Long and a Gilbreath (records state Pollie Ann but i have been told she is probably a Mary) They had four sons and a daughter who died in infancy. The only son to marry was James "jim" pierce he m alma BLAYLOCK daughter of Benjamin Franklin Blaylock and marth jane GLENN. the others sons were thomas, pete(p.a.) and Jessie!!!! any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! apugh
