Hi everyone. It seems there is a lot of people working on the PIERCE line. Count me in in working on the line also. My name is Neal Parker, Deer Park, Texas. I have a cousin who is a direct decendant of Jacob Alexander PIERCE. Jacob Alexander PIERCE, b-1846 in Murray Co, Georgia, married Annie Emiline AMMONS, and died in 1895 or 1896 in a tornado in Sherman, TX with other members of his family. Jacob and Annie had 8 kids (4 of which died in the tornado). Those not killed were John Ephriam PIERCE, b-1871 in GA, d-1934 in Tyler, TX; Hiram Lafayette PIERCE, b- 1873 in GA, d-unknown; Brittie Savannah PIERCE, b-1878, d-1935 in Tulis, TX; and James Franklin PIERCE, b-1888 in Sherman, TX, and died in 1962 in Houston, TX Hiram Lafayette PIERCE married Jamina Ann PRICE and had seven kids. They were Annie Emiline PIERCE, b-1898; Nathan Alexander PIERCE, b-abt 1901; Hiram Clayton PIERCE, b-July 30, 1903 in Durant, Okla, d-June 12, 1988 in Houston, TX, married Mary Freddie ROWELL; Ethel PIERCE, b abt 1905; Carter Henry PIERCE, b-1909 in Loveland, Okla, d-1990; Chester Lafayette PIERCE, b abt 1911 and Loleta PIERCE, b abt 1914. Hiram Clayton PIERCE married Mary Freddie PRICE and had three kids. They were Chloe Marie PIERCE (my cousin), b-Nov 1928 in Houston, TX, still living, married John Louis BEHNE; Hiram Clayton PIERCE, Jr, b-nov 1931 in Houston, TX; and Geraldine (Jerry) Ann PIERCE, b- July 1937 in Houston, TX, d-Feb 1997 in Caldwell, Texas I do have other descendants of Jacob Alexander PIERCE, too many to list here. I wonder if others may have interest in this line of PIERCEs. Jacob Alexander parents is believed to be John and Elizabeth PIERCE, place of birth unknown. I would like to find information on the parents and ancestors of Jacob Alexander PIERCE. Any help will be appreciated. THANKS, Neal Parker
