the reason I am trying to research this Methodist bishop is that Rhea Kuykendall descendant of Hugh Pierce VA claimed kin to Bishop Geo F Pierce, and cites info in his book The Life and Times of Bishop Geo F Pierce several times. I will try soon to get the entire document Rhea submitted to Texas Stripes Genealogy magazine regarding his search to be added to DAR via lineage to Hugh Pierce. I have been looking for the document for a week or so and it has not turned up.I have it her in some trunk or box . I have photo copy. this is the document that was stolen out of Rhea Kurykendalls genealogy File in the Fort Worth Genealogy Library in March of 1999. I need to find my photo copy and get a copy back in Rhea Kuykendalls file at the genealogy library. It was in this file ([email protected] Wanda Ruby sent me my copies) that Rhea Kuykendall interviewed my Uncle Clem Abercrombie Pierce II in 1937 in Arch NM. This is the letter claiming Kinship to Aquilla and David Pierce of Joh! nson County TX, this ties in directly with the mystery of Joel J Pierce I have been researching, as this Joel Pierce appears to be a brother to Aquilla's father.
