Hi Everyone, I heard a rumor stating "Anthony Pierce/Pearce was actually a Shipping Merchant. He and his brother Richard made frequent stops in the West Indies to pick up spices." Also, a will was apparently discovered in which Richard Pierce Senior (son of Thomas Pierce) willed land in the Barbados to his Two sons Richard and Anthony (Shipping Merchants). Both Anthony and Richard removed to Southern New Jersey in the early 1700s. As a direct descendant of Anthony Pierce/Pearce, I'd very much be interested in discovering if this information is correct, its source, and if there are any copies of documents available (especially that Pierce will).
