Hi Everyone, Here is my Pierce Line (Anyone else have connections to Canada?) George & Mary Pierce (Co. Fermanagh, Ireland) Children: Henry Alexander Hugh Mary Ann George Catherine Margaret John Robert My gg grandfather was Henry (born c.1840). His brother Alexander arrived in Saint John, NB Canada in 1859. I don't know when Henry arrived, but he and my gg grandmother were married in Saint John in July of 1862. My gg aunts, Margaret and Catherine, were living in Portland, Me at one time and it is also believed that they may have moved to the Boston area. Margaret married an Edward Johnston and they had two children. A daughter and a son, George Pierce Johnston, who became a Monsignor in the Catholic Church. Catherine married an Edward McCarron or Carran and the two sisters apparently lived nearby to each other. This is all I know of these two ladies and if anyone could steer me in the right direction that would be wonderful. The rest of the siblings and their Mother all emigrated and remained in Saint John, NB. It is believed that George Sr. died while still in Ireland. Thank you very much and good luck to all! Sincerely, Patricia Pierce Underhill
