My brick wall is Abel Pierce born ca. 1796 in S.C./N.C. He is listed in a land sale in Crawford County, MO., with wife, Rachel, in 1840. He married Catherine Sewell in 1842 in Crawford County, MO. I know of a son named James Genniss? Pierce born in TN. in 1824. Another son named Rufus S. Pierce, born ca. 1842, who married Sarah Ann Giesler in MO. Rufus and Sarah settled in Fulton County, AR., in 1876. Their children were Richard, America Clementine and Laura Ann. Searching for any info on Abel and his wife, Rachel, before 1840.
