Searching for ancestors & descendants of Martin & Esther PIERCE. According to IL census records they were born in MA ca 1790. Their children were Chapman, Parmer & (H)ellen. born between 1820 & 1835 in NY. They settled in DuPage County, IL in the late 1830s. Chapman's descendants are unknown. (H)ellen married Milo BUTTERFIELD. They had six children born between 1855 and 1869. Parmer married Ruth WIGHTMAN in 1846 in IL. They had four children, Esther A, George N, Mary E and Franklin born between 1847 and 1853. Mary E is my ggmother. Any information regarding this family is appreciated. Bob
