>From the Vero Beach “Press Journal” Sat Aug10 2002: KENNETH PIERCE, 86, of Vero Beach, died Aug 9, 2002, at Fort Pierce Health Care, Fort Pierce (FL), after a brief illness. He was born Jan 12, 1916, in Augusta, Maine, and moved to Vero Beach four years ago from Belfast, Maine. Mr. Pierce was owner of a grocery store in Gardiner, Maine, and was owner of an antique shop in Belfast. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of the Oddfellows and the Highland Avenue Methodist Church, both in Gardiner. Surviving are one son, Stephen Pierce, of Vero Beach; two daughters, Sherrill Bacca, of Salem, N. H., and Jane Pierce, of Lynn, Mass.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.... If any relative wants the article, please let me know.
