I have the following Pierce/Peirce ancestors: Stephen Pierce b. 1759 d 6-2-1832 m. Susannah Thetford b. 1-8-1760 d. 4-18-1835 (they were reported to have come from Wales but no proof of that) Children of Stephen and Susannah (that I know of): Caleb b. 9-11-1788 m Elizabeth Hieatt b. 1-5-1798 d. 12-20-1848 Aholiab b. 3-5-1801 d. 1-23-1853 m. Elizabeth Hieatt Pierce (his brother Caleb's widow) Caleb and Elizabeth had 3 children and Aholiab and Elizabeth had 3 children. My ancestor was Susannah Thetford Pierce (daughter of Aholiab and Elizabeth Hieatt Pierce Pierce) who married Garrett Perrine Sullivan. Caleb, Aholiab, Elizabeth and their children all lived in Mason County, Ky. I am not sure if Stephen and Susannah ever lived in Kentucky. Any help will be appreciated. The name was spelled Peirce in the family Bible most of the time with Pierce occasionally. Anne in KY
