I am looking for information on this Greene Co., TN family line: 1) George Deatherage & Nancy Johnson 2) Bird Deatherage & Sarah English 3) John E. Deatherage & Agnes English 4) Bird Deatherage & Mary Ann Baxter 5) William R. Deatherage & Rebecca J. Pierce My problem is that I have received a copy of a Death Certificate for William R. listing his parents as Jackson Deatherage and Polly Baxter. I can find no information on these names and very little on the children of Bird and Mary. My information shows Bird Deatherage (Jackson) as being born in 1826. Mary Ann Baxter born in 1829. They were married Oct. 12, 1847. William R. Deatherage born Jan 14, 1860 , died May 1928 and Rebecca J. Pierce born 1866, died 1912. They were married in Greene Co, TN on Jan. 3 1886. Rebecca's parents are listed as Alexander Pierce b. July 16, 1844 and Agnes English b. Oct 23, 1846. Any help with these families will be greatly appreciated.
