Charles Piearce b/1839, married to Elizabeth Stockdale in England, there were eleven (11) children of this marriage, only Thomas & William grew to maturity. Elizabeth had a daughter from a previous marriage, name of Esther Ann Baker. Charles & Elizabeth came to America it is estimated between 1867-1885. They settled in New York, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, then Montana where Charles obtained a homestead. His occupation is listed as coal miner and rancher.
