Warren: Thanks for the information on John Pearce (Mason). I am still trying to find out where he came from and how he connects with the other Pearce families in early Rhode Island. Have you read the two volumn set on "Rhode Island General Court of Trials (1671- 1704). The early records were transcribed by Jane Fletcher Fiske. The two volumn set was published in 1998. There are records of trials in early Newport County, Rhode Island. In the books there are several references to John Pearce (Mason) and other members of the Pearce family.
