Hi, Stuck on this line...looking for the parents/ancestors/descendants of James PEIRCE: James A. PEIRCE b.c.1865 d.unk lived Westfield, Chautauqua Co., NY married about 1895 Adeline COOMBS b.1873 d.unk also of Westfield. Children: 1. Joseph "Buddy" PEIRCE b.c.1896 d.c.1968 married 1st Katherine Unk, 2nd Regina Unk, lived in NJ 2. Alice M. PEIRCE b.17 May 1898 Brooklyn, NY d.20 Dec 1988 Plainfield, NJ m. George WHITE/WEISS/WEIS James A. PEIRCE had a brother Colonel Albert E. PEIRCE who was said to have lived in Ravenswood Estates, Jackson Co., WVA. I can't seem to find a trace of James or Albert PEIRCE also seen spelled PEARCE. And of course there is the story that there is a 3rd PEIRCE brother and the three were in a feud, each stomping off spelling PEIRCE a different way. Hmmm.
