Does anyone researching Pierces in NY have an Eli PIERCE who graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1823? There was a medical school in Fairfield, Herkimer Co. I believe these two colleges might be the same. There was an Eli Pierce listed in the 1820 NY census in Cayuga Co., Cato Twp. Also an Eli Pierce in 1820 NY census for Cortland Co., Homer Twp. An Eli Pierce in 1830 NY Census in Cayuga Co., Ira Twp. An Eli Pierce in 1830 NY Census in Greene Co., Athens Twp. An Eli Pierce in 1840 NY Census in Greene Co.
