My Burrell Pearce was b. 1820 and was in the 1860 census in Itawamba,Ms. with his wife Jane. They moved to Arkansas where they had a son, George Henry Pierce, they already had two children born in Ms., a boy John W. and a girl Sarah. In the next census Jane and the children are living with her brother a Massengail. We have lost the paper trail of Burrell. We don't know if he joined the Army or died or what. Jane later moved to Al. with her children and their families. Then in the late 1800's we lost the paper trail for Jane. She was in Elmore county the last census she was on. Can anyone help me?
