Hi George, Don't know that I can be of assistance to you. Most of my Percy family and descendant research has been in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New York, and migration patterns seem to have followed a more northern route. The only thing that jumps out to me is your father's middle name. I have only seen the Benoni name used consistently in one family, and that is the one that traces back to John Pearce (mason). I know members of that family migrated south to North Carolina. Perhaps someone with ties to that family line would know whether there is any Maryland connection. Good luck, Basil
