My paternal line connects to this family. My 5th great grandfather, Nathan Parce (the "e" was removed from his line) was a son of Benoni Pearce and Mehitable Walker. Benoni was born 11/23/1730 in Rhode Island, married Mehitable Walker 5/5/1754 in Rhode Island, and they had 10 children. As Basil noted, much of this family migrated to North Carolina. My line (Nathan's family) settled in New York State, Chenango Co., and then some settled in Florida and others to Wisconsin. Don't know if there is any record of Maryland settlement, but it is possible. I have much on the branches of this family if you would like to know anything of the children of Benoni, or his siblings and parents, I would be happy to offer what I have. I have four Benoni Pearces in my records and one Benoni Parce, a son of Nathan Parce. In addition, there is a son of Nathan, a Hiram Parce in my line, and he had a son Hiram as well, so there could be a connection here somewhere. Let me know if there is anything I can offer to help.
