CORN, PAULINE PIERCE (#751) Papers, 1879-1970; 4 boxes Pauline Pierce Corn, writer and genealogist, was born in Austell, Georgia on 6 December, 1896, the daughter of Wilde Lovick and Zula Lewis Pierce. The Pierce's were an established and venerated family of Methodist ministers from Georgia. George Foster Pierce, Pauline Corn's paternal grandfather was President of Emory College from 1848-1854. The Pauline Pierce Corn papers document the early life of Pauline Pierce Corn, specifically her engagement to Dr. Ernest Corn, and her intense, life-long passion for genealogical research.
