I am researching the PIERCE line from North Western Pennsylvania. My GGG Grandfather was Philip Pierce (25 Aug 1812 - 22 Apr 1891) from Sparta Township, Crawford County PA. He and his wife Amanda (COATS) (1 Sept 1817 - 13 Oct 1897) are buried in Britton Run Cemetery, just outside Spartansburg. I am looking for information on the parents/siblings of Philip (possibly from Vermont) and Amanda (from New York per 1860 census). One of Philip and Amanda's sons, Oscar S. Pierce (19 Jun 1839 - 22 Jun 1890) married Lydia F. HAMILTON (25 Apr 1850 - 21 Aug 1927) on 24 Nov 1873. I am looking for any information on Lydia. The 1880 census shows that she was born in Ohio and that she and Oscar lived in Corry, Erie County PA. Oscar and Lydia had a son, Frank (or maybe Fransis) (12 May 1881 - 1 Sept 1946). He married Anna E. KARASH (10 Feb 1881 - 7 Feb 1944) on 11 June 1902. Anna came from East Prussia with her parents Frederick (1843 - 1918) and Minnie (ROTKE?) (1840 - 1902) Karash and lived in Westfield NY. I am looking for any information on the Karash family. Any information on these descendents would be greatly appreciated. Chuck
