Hi list, I am asking for help again to find information about my g.g.grandfather, Joseph PIERCE. He was born ca. 1860 in England, he married Sarah DOBSON, b. ca. 1838 in Ohio. In the 1880 census they were living in Todds Point Twp., Shelby CO., ILL. with 8 children. One of those children was Nellie PIERCE, my great grandmother. In April 1888 she married David HADWIN in Todds Point. Nellie was 20 yrs. old and David was 26. I have not been able to find Joseph and Sarah any further back than 1880 census.
