Hi, this is my first message to the list, I hope I can finally get past my brick walls! I am trying to research my father's family, the furthest I have gotten is my great grandfather, Henry Pierce. He married Dora White (1/2 cherokee indian, we think)DOB: 1/26/1900, DOD: 12/1987, There children were: Odell Pierce, Leonard Pierce, Francis Pierce, and my grandfather, L.C. Pierce. My aunt has stated that his name was Louie Cleo, but my research has shown that it was more likely Luia Cleophus, as this is the only person at all in the SSDI that matches all my criteria. He was born May 27, 1924, and died January 1987- Cushing, Payne Co. Oklahoma. He married Margaret M. Courtney (or Mohler) DOB-1/11/1928; DOD-7/15/1995 she is buried in Euchee Valley Memorial Park in Cushing Ok.
