You don't worry Suzanne, my thoughts exactly as Linda said, if it pertains to the Pierces' or any variant, then seems fine to me. Now, I have an Elizabeth Pearce, b. 1857, d. 1935, not sure where she was born, but possibly Jefferson Co. PA. She married a William Alfred Pierce, b. 5 Dec. 1855, d. 1927., William was born most likely in Clarion Co. Mill Creek PA . Is there anyone on this list who may recognize these names? Richard Pearch b. in Waltham Abbey, Essex County, England, d. 1678, Portsmouth, RI. m Susannah Wright d. 1678. They had 11 children of which #10 is George, b. 10 July 1662, m. Alice Hart in 7 Apr 1687 and d. Sept 1752 in Little Compton, RI. They had 5 children. #3 is James b. 4 Sept. 1691, d. 24 Sept. 1755, he married Martha Wilbore. They had Giles, b. 23 March 1722, m. Mercy Rouse and d. July 1792. They had James, b. 15 Aug. 1755 m. Phebe Wood July 1763. James died July 1820. They had (we believe) Sarah (Sally) b. 7 Dec 1787 in Little Compton, RI, married Peter Hazelton in Jun 1817 and died in Homer, Calhoun, MI on 14 Jan 1852. We are trying to verify that this Sally (Sarah) was indeed a daughter of James and Phebe Wood Pearce. I would appreciate any help.
